Assaia’s latest Turnaround Report shows AI-led visibility is shaving minutes off aircraft turns, increasing gate utilization and turning operational gains into serious revenue potential

Assaia’s recently published Turnaround Report 2025 reveals that smarter, AI-driven oversight of the airside has delivered measurable gains in aircraft handling efficiency compared with the previous 12 months, across 15 major airports and more than 450,000 turns.

Now in its third year, the study quantifies how improved coordination of the many subprocesses that make up a turn can free up capacity, cut delays and translate operational wins into substantial financial value. The dataset shows an industry under pressure from record passenger growth and constrained infrastructure, yet improving performance where data and AI are applied.
